Telehealth continues to be an effective tool for providing accessible care. During this presentation, Andrea Shipley, a Project Coordinator for the Senior for Wyoming Telehealth Network at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities. In this presentation, she looked at national findings on the effectiveness of telehealth provided during the Public Health Emergency, including research about the Return on Investment (ROI) and Return of Health (ROH) by utilizing telehealth. She gave examples of how telehealth implementation during the pandemic shifted the healthcare landscape during the Public Health Emergency (PHE). Lastly, she discussed “what’s next” in sustainable implementation of telehealth in the future and identify best practice models for telehealth implementation and sustainability.
